This is my 26th RA book. And this one doesn't disappoint in the least. Quirky, funny as heck, and down right a great read. Robin has a real knack when it comes to her secondaries. I'm not sure I know of anyone who does secondary characters better. Jet the kidult really stands out, she's pretty awesome. Anyway. Loved this. But then again, I knew I would.

3.5 but I rounded up. I'm a little torn as to how to rate this one. I enjoyed it and chuckled out loud a couple of times, especially at some of the things Jet says and does. But, the humor in it felt a little forced. It seemed like the story and the characters lost something because the reader was supposed to laugh instead of coming across as naturally funny. I can't say I didn't enjoy reading it, but I didn't like it as much as some other Robin Alexander books.

I almost forgot how much Robin Alexander's books make me laugh. I was laughing from the jump with the prologue, and that's not usual for me. I'm glad I was able to read another one of these funny books. I loved the story. It made me feel very nostalgic with all of the references. My only wish is that it would have kept me on my toes. It is a good thing when I burst out into laughter just from reading those bits I'd highlighted from the book. Especially when I wasn't thinking that hard about the book, and when I was just going through my highlights long after the fact to see what to share or not share.
