4 stars. Oof, this was well on its way to being a five star for me but then the third act drama happened and things went downhill for me. (view spoiler) Before that happened though this was great. I loved the writing as I always do with Brayden and the characters of Courtne ...more

I enjoyed the story. What I didn't care for was that 80% of it was supposed to be a flashback. But if it's that much of the book, then why not just start on high school? The writer should have skipped the beginning where it's present day.

I did enjoy the nice family she had. Also, there was just the right amount of cussing and sex for my taste, which I appreciate.

The narrator was good. Thought there were a few times when I couldn't tell which character was speaking.

Overall, not bad.
