Shelves: adult, suspense, 3-stars, from-my-shelf, dark, stand-alone, contemporary

3 stars. Very solid, suspenseful read. The story was good and I really liked the writing and the way the different POVs were set up. Even though there was one character in particular that I hated reading from, in the end, it was necessary so I can't be too annoyed about it. Even though reading those chapters made me want to smash my head against the wall but, I digress.

Shelves: terrible-did-not-finish

If you enjoy mediocre first person, melodramtic romance novels, this book is for you.

However if you actually enjoy reading crime or thriller books, steer clear!

A real page-turner impossible to put down. Brilliantly written in the voice of three of the characters, each slowly and strategically revealed with deep, ugly flaws that you eventually accept and understand. This book will stick with you long after you put it down.
