4 stars. Take the intenseness from book one and then multiply it by a thousand and you have this book. Holy hell. I was on the edge of my seat because I spent the first 12% or so waiting for the shit to hit the fan.

Another suspense filled, story!! Could there journey be over or is there more to come? The characters have been through so much already, but I wouldn't mind another adventure with them. Exciting, and gut wrenching at times.

I have read a few books by Cari Hunter and what I know so far is that she writes intriguing thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat/couch/recliner. This sequel to Desolation Point involves the everyday life of Sarah and Alex. Not much romance but much mystery and suspense. It was just a matter of time before Sarah and Alex with their new identities would be found in their new location. The question was how?
