Una excelente novela, situada en el mismo universo que Saturn's Children, aunque las historias no tienen nada que ver una con otra.
La historia trata básicamente sobre las ideas ya conocidas del autor sobre la imposibilidad práctica de la colonización espacial por parte de la humanidad (que de todas maneras en este universo está prácticamente extinta). I was a little concerned about this book; I really enjoy Stross' writting in general, but frankly detested Saturn's Children (supposedly the first book in this series). In hindsight I can state that the two stories didn't have anything to do with each other, and the issues I had with Saturn's Children did not carryover to Neptune's Brood.
