What Members Thought
I used to absolutely love this book, it was really up there in my top twenty of all time. On this reread, the characters felt thinner and the jokes felt more labored and old-fashioned. I didn't laugh out loud until the Wasabi's haiku upgrade. The humor in the Discworld books is better, and the big stuff and characters are better in Gaiman's novels. It's sad when a book doesn't hold up next to your memory of it.
