While it does not exceed his debut novel "The Gone-Away World," Harkaway still manages to weave a fun and entertaining tale well-worth a read. Harkaway does a better job of channeling his zaniness within the pages of "Angelmaker" this time around. While the plot lacks the ingenious twists that TGAW contained, it still has plenty of charm. One of my favorite books from 2012.
