Simply wonderful writing about one of the earliest history of doctoring I have ever read. Sometimes thrilling, a book one reads with anticipation. Description of culture of the Arabs, English, and life in the early church of England with starring roles by nuns and brothers. A "who done it" novel, you will not be able to predict the culprit!
