I know I know... Only 3 stars... Let me explain. I love Nora... I own many many of her books, most of her series, and have been a fan for about 14 years now. There is nothing I haven't read from her that I don't like, it's just that some are better then others. This was one of the ones that fell short for me. This is absolutely one of my favorite Nora Roberts series. It hooked me instantly. I have read and re-read this series many times and will continue to do so. The bond between Cal, Fox, and Gage is beautiful. No matter where they are or what they are doing, they always will have each others' backs. The connection between Cal and Quinn is instant and they have grown to be one of my favorite fictional couples. I love this book and book series and will always be the first to recommend it!

Just read this for the second time! One of my favorites. Love how Cal is the perfect hometown boy fighting against other worldly odds. I like the paranormal/slightly scary vibe mixed with the small town romance!
I really liked this. I'm only an okay fan of Quinn, but I like all the others so far. I was appropriately creeped out several times and laughed several times as well.
