Absolutely adored it. I love Richelle's writing. So normal and conversational and witty and you somehow become friends with the characters and develop real emotional connections. I'm not looking forward to having no Sydney, Adrian, Jill and Eddie to read about. I mean, we're already missing Rose and Lissa - what do we do now?!?!?

Bloodline is book one in the Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead. This series is told from the perspective of Sidney Sage, Alchemist. I wasn't a Sidney fan in the Vampire Academy Series, but I loved Adrian, Eddie, and Jill. Sidney won me over with this book. I love how she's so different from Rose in Vampire Academy (although I love Rose). Sidney is far from a party girl. She dreams of going to college and enjoys studying and order.
