Fun read. The story starts with a big commotion at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art and then leads to a fun international chase. The characters are well written and the story is too. I'm so glad I found James Rollins. He writing style move quickly to fever pitch early in the book and it continues to the end with exciting scientific twists and turns. I first read Alter of Eden, then discovered the group, "Undeniable and Undiscovered Thrillers" which was discussing Rollins. I selected Sandstorm as my next read before the group selected it as the group read. Rollins doesn't disappoint. Rollins here introduces Sigma Force, a group of elite scientific commandos. I'll admit, when I heard the premise for this series all those years ago, I wasn't sure how well it would hold up. But Sandstorm was an awesome adventure, with a particularly interesting hero...I'm not talking about Painter Crowe, future director of Sigma, but rather Omaha Dunn. Why haven't we seen this character again, Jim?

Shelves: from-library, deja-vu
So far, very good.

It's running about a 6 on my deja-vu scale....

Finished. Very good book. Still that mysterious feeling of having read it before was solid by the end.

Good story about Queen of Sheba (who still lives!) and antimatter.
