Be careful. There are lots of reviews revealing the plot twist.

Leaving Time is told from a variety of narrators: psychic, detective, mom, and daughter who are all hurting. I was a little hesitant to read this at first since I don't usually read psychic/ghosts type novels but the mystery hooked me and you feel Jenna’s loss. Jodi, what the hell happened.

The last few books for me have been stinkers. First wolves, now elephants?!

Oh wait. This one is more. It's about elephants.... and psychics... Yep, elephants and psychics.

I'm sorry but this one was a dud for me. I miss the old-school novels of hers. The ones that made me cry, angry, happy, and filled with suspense and dread to get to the big shocking twist at the end.

This ending was nothing that I was expecting. I love it when a book challenges the reader to go back and see the clues that were missed. Another bonus to this book is all the wonderful things I learned about elephants.

little disappointed that dispite introducing the bipolar diagnosis, there was not talk about the stigma. The authors note in the end made no mention of any research on the diagnosis
