I LOVE VAMPIRE ACADEMY. So so so much.
I first read the book in 2008. I was hooked instantly. This book is written in a simple way. It's one of the books that doesn't need fancy words because it's exciting in itself.
I loved the characters. Each character has a story, a past and a different personality. I especially love Rose. She's such a strong character who is also vulnerable in a way. But she's willing to sacrifice herself for those she loves. I think every teenage girl can find themselves rel ...more

After I Finished reading the Harry Potter series, I was on a quest to find something similar to amazing J.K. Rowling world.
And here I'am popped out from a yahoo answer suggestion.
Basically I was looking for those basic things:
1.)A school that teaches supernatural stuff (in case of harry potter Hogwarts)
2.) Teenager drama and cliques ( in case of harry potter there is Harry and his group including luna, neville, the twins, etc...)
3.) and if there is a school there should be adventure outside cam ...more

it was a cool read it reminded me a little of the house of night only for there controlling the 4 element's and the vampires but thats about it there to different but rely enjoyable series

Great story
I started with just a preview, the first chapter on B & N website. I was instantly hooked! The characters are rich and genuine and the story line is amazing. It is about an underground society of vampires and their protectors and class struggles. I had it on my list to read, but once I got started, I couldn't stop! I have completely fallen in love with these books! Rose is my new hero!

loved of course. Its the reason I read all the books in the first place. Im reading them again to refresh my mind for the movie :)
AMAZING! I loved the story line and the characters are fantastic!
