Reading Vampire Academy had been one of the best reading experience ever! Once I picked it up, it was impossible to put down. Though I doubted myself if I had mistakenly bought the wrong VA again (I did it actually) because the starting was sort of like progressive, filled with terms that I was not 'acquainted' with but as I proceeded, man, I read it all.

"And then he was there charging down the hallway like eath in a cowboy duster" I have read this book 7 times or so now and I still love it. Dimitri is as badass as ever and I foun myself slipping into the same emotions I felt the first time I read this book. I love dimitri, i've made no secret of that. And what is the definitiuion of Strigoi? Dimitri on crack! Aah, I love this book. Rose is as badass as Dimka, Mason absolutly hilarious. love Christian. Don't like Lissa. the same as when I ...more

Buffy was my ABSOLUTE favorite show on TV until it's final season. Aside from that though and of course Angel, it's spin-off, I was never into or remotely interested in vampires. I never considered reading Anne Rice even though I thought the movie Interview With a Vampire was pretty good.

I think this book is a great book for the first into a series. It attracts the attention of the reader and keeps them wanting more. i LOVE this series. and i can't wait to finish reading the rest of the books!!!!
