Read this when it first came out and have patiently been waiting on second book ever since. I think the second book comes out this year or next. Also the movie is coming out.. Yay... Not! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE,, LOVE this book! Here's the deal, I was so bored reading the first fifty pages of The Host that I almost put it down. It was very scientific and a bit slow. The next fifty were good, but not great. THEN I got to the true story. Between the drama, romance, action, and pure emotional turmoil I couldn't put the book down. The second time I read this over 600 page book I loved every word. I'll read it again at some point I'm sure and I can't wait til the possible sequel!! ...more
