The book "Holes" is about a kid named Stanley Yelnats. Stanley was sent to a juvenile correctional camp in the middle of a desert so the kids can not escape. At this camp the kids have to dig a hole that had to be five feet deep and five feet round. The kids thought the digging was punishment, but really the camp owner was trying to find a fortune.
