This is an interesting book about a Seargant Major POW in WWII and his escapades including escaping 7 times and doing a great amount of damage through sabatoge. His comradeship with his men is unfailing and his courage never fails.
This is set in WWII at several Stalags (VI and VIII) they also spend much time in work camps such as Auschwitz. The conditions were terrible most of the time and the men occupied their time by trying to escape or destroying items of any value to the Germans.
I would reccomend this book to people who like POW escape stories or history in general. This is an incredible true story of men who fought for freedom.
