[close] A child called "it" is about a boy named David who was abused very badly by his mom, he was put in a gas chamber so to speak when his mom would put him into a gas chamber and she would fill the room with toxins, She also would feed him or give him water, she would make him sleep in the garage.

This story took place in California, this whole book was about conflicts, Dave was very badly abused by his mom and he was afraid to tell on her, he would cover her up when the nurse would ask what the marks on his body where from. I dont understand how a mother could do something like this to a defenseless kid, I really wish I could have helped him.

I gave this five stars for many reasons, One reason is that it takes a lot of couage to come out and tell every one what happened, it also shows people to be thankful for every thing they have and that things could be much worse. It is an inspirational book to read. I really enjoyed it, I would recommend this book to everyone who has been abused or complains a lot, it would be an eye opener for them. I read this book and did not want to put it down, it is a very fast read.
