The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is a book about a boy whose torn by being low class and first class. Junior lived in the Spokane Indian reservatin and was always teased about being different. He wanted to be in charge of his own future and not end up like his mom and dad. After being at his old school on the reservation he can't take it any longer and decides to switch to an all white school.
Some conflicts in the book are when his sister, grandmother and best friend die and theres a lot of conflict between him and the community on the reservation. Another conflict he has is between himself and being true to himself and knowing who he is.
I reccomend this book to people who like humor in a book and for teens, it really has some life lessons about life and it really teaches us things about life.
