The book is about a kid named Joe Stoscack. He goes on an adventure and goes time traveling with a baseball card. He wants go go back to meet Jackie Robinson. He wants to see what it would be like to be the best man in baseball. He ends up going there and he almost gets killed, so when he gets back and tells his mom he gets in trouble and his mom tells him he can't time travel any more.
One of the conflicts of this book is Joe almost gets killed and his mom mom tells him he can't go time traveling any more. The way he goes time traveling is he puts an old baseball card in his hand and he gets a tingling sensation in his fingers. Then he closes his eyes and he suddenly ends up in the place he wants to be (Jackie Robinson's time.)
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes baseball or anyone who likes to get a book with a mystery in it.
