Something bad had happened to Melinda at a party which made her to stop speaking. Whatever happened at the party had made her friends stop befriending her, but one of them is who she want to tell what happened that night.
The conflict of the book is that she want to tell someone what happened the one night at a party but all of her friends had stopped befriending her and it's something that she feels the need to talk about with someone that she trusts.
I rated it 4 out of 5 starts because it was really good easy to follow along. I believe young adults should be the ones reading this book.
