This book sucked me into its high school drama.. Hook. Line. Sinker. It is a masterpiece of true chick-lit. It's something to be read when life gets a little too real. Told in a diary-style format, this is a look at Jessica Darling's life in high school. It travels the gamut of emotions that are familiar from that time. Interesting read.

Sloppy First is the start of Jessica Darling's five-book long story. After reading this, I think it's okay not to read the others. I, for one, ended up hating the entire series.
