WOW! just wow!
This has to be THE best fantasy book that I have ever read in my life.
This book holds answers to all the questions about the Middle-Earth. The book ends where Lord of the Rings book ends, so yes it bridges the gaps in the stories and talks about the beginning of everything.

This was a brilliant reading experience. I have put off reading this for a long time, having heard that it was really difficult to get through.
But after reading The Hobbit recently (and really loving it), I felt the urge to dive more into Tolkien’s Legendarium. So I picked this up and began reading it. To my surprise. I loved it. Sure, it took me a longer time to read. But I really enjoyed myself.
