This book was ok. It was really boring. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone really. I think that books that "changed the world" are kind of annoying. Especially when a teacher makes you read the books. It's a reaction of the Russians. George Orwell was angry with the Stalin of Russia and expresses it with a story. Stalin worked his way up to dictatorship with his secret police. They ruthlessly killed everyone or took them as prisoner.

Really drives its point home, which makes it less of a story and more of an essay, really. Way too didactic to be enjoyable.
