Third time is the charm---Hopefully this will do this book justice.
I am going to try and do what feels impossible…here’s my review of The Eye of the World.

After long resisting, I finally succumbed. Full of cliche, especially in the beginning; there were at least 5 scenes that directly reminded me of Lord of the Rings which is 4 too many. However, as it progressed more an more unique elements came to to play and the suspense built to the point where I had to keep reading. And that is what matters most.
