These two titles are best treated as one, for they form a continuous narrative with a break point that appears arbitrary. So far so good; will reserve judgment until after I read the second volume
I really enjoyed this book and the second half, All Clear, but with caveats. I love time travel stories. I am a WWI nerd, and have always been fascinated with the Blitz, but even I think Ms. Willis's editor should have been more aggressive in paring down these tomes. They would have been even better and pulled in readers that aren't already predisposed to plunk themselves down for some 1300 combined pages between the two books!
