Time travel with a sense of humor and homage Victoriana. A grand romp.
This book is hilarious! It is essentially a book about time travel to Victorian England in search of "the bishop's birdstump" an object needed to complete a replica of a cathedral that was destroyed during the bombing of England in World War II. I read it for a book group and we laughed ourselves silly.

It took me a while to get into this story. If you enjoy time travel stories then you will like this read. It is at time confusing, but still a fun trip.
