Epic science fiction in the best tradition. Very captivating story that doesn't shy away from exposing you to some challenging science (even if Robinson bends the rules a bit). Admittedly, this one does meander a bit more than the others, but the desire to know the fates of the characters, and the visit to Earth managed to keep me reading. The author doesn't quite tidy everything up despite the length, and even dares to drop hints about new plotlines or reopens ones we thought closed. You can't ...more
