I FINALLY finished this. It took forever because I kept putting it down and then trying to pick up back up again. Halfway through I was thoroughly confused. I finally figured out why I was so confused. The ebook version I was reading (admittedly from a questionable source) skipped the whole middle part of the novel. The whole guts of it. I managed to go only through first 3 chapters. To me book seems like it was written by someone with psychotic condition. I hoped that was done to illustrate mental damage of main character but same style continued even after character got cured.
I know there are people who consider this style of writing cool, but to me it reads like work, since I’m therapist.
