I need to get this review out before I start the second book. first off, it was hard for me to rate this book for a few reasons. As a stand alone book I would have given it a four, but as the first part of a trilogy, it definitely gets a three. While the main storyline was enjoyable, the writing was mediocre at best. just a few pages in and hooked already.

nov 6, 2011 - just finished reading this page-turner. Ready for Catching Fire, the 2nd book in this series. I will post my opinions when I finish the trilogy. I will say the rampant logical flaws urk me; but the overall story is good.
