I didn't read this book, I inhaled it. The plot moves along at a breathtaking place and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I resisted reading this book for a long while as I had seen the Japanese film "Battle Royale" and thought this would be a cheap imitation. It's not--rather it uses our fascination with so called "reality" shows and amps that up to an extreme. Katniss is admirable protagonist, but I thought the other characters in the arena could have been developed a bit more. Not su ...more
