What Members Thought
I would say that this book probably deserves 5 stars simply because of the overall epicness of it. The stand is my favourite take on the apocalypse since I started watching The Walking Dead and reading the comics. The Stand is King's approach on the prophesied apocalypse in the Bible's Revelations. The Stand takes a rag tag group of interesting characters as they live through the end of the world and participate in an all out struggle between good and evil.

Good story, great characters, vivid descriptions, dashes of humor, and apocalyptic events. A long and immersive tale definitely worth revisiting.
