The Fall of Hyperion takes a more traditional approach to storytelling than did Hyperion. As the Hegemony struggles with the Ouster threat and the datasphere, megasphere and the Core AIs, the six Shrike pilgrims must survive the Time Tombs and the deadly Shrike.
