Loved the writing. Annoyingly sexism pops up from chapter 3 onwards. Damsels in distress, women used as baby making machines etc. The closest things to feminism are men aggressively mansplaining their ideas of gender roles to female characters who are victims of their society. I wish he'd been a writer of our time cause otherwise Wyndham could have been one of my favourite authors. ...more
