Alex ist Kopf einer solchen Bande und dem Leser werden seine Taten in rascher Abfolge vor Augen geführt, die sich vom Zusammenschlagen wehrloser Opfer über Einbrüche, Vergewaltigung (auch von Kindern) bis zu Totschlag steigern. A Clockwork Orange is a 1962 dystopian crime novel and adapted, produced, and directed by Stanley Kubrick in the 1971 movie. “Clockwork orange” title is inspired by the Cockney expression "queer as a clockwork orange" ("queer" meaning "strange" or "unusual").
