I read this back in high school and it was my favourite required read by far. I recall doing a project on the language used: the scrabble choices, the titles, phrases the protagonist talks about.
This reread just confirmed how damn good the book is. I love that ending as well - university of Nunavut! That wouldn't have hit me on my high school reading. Captivating story, with a whole lot to think about. I especially liked the way it ended, even though it could be seen as a way of Margaret Atwood showing everyone just how clever she was with all of the references to this, that and the other. However, it was a great way to resolve the story while leaving so many questions unanswered. Brilliant tactic.
