My greatest literary inspiration! 1984 introduced me to a new world and way of writing and fiction which still peaks my creative interest to this day. A masterful vision of the future, both believable, and critical at the same time. A must read for any literary enthusiast.
Freakish world based on a authoritarian, communist future. War creates ignorance. The end is infuriatingly perfect.

I first read this in high school out of curiosity because I was graduating in 1983. I really enjoyed it. I reread it a few years later and still found it entertaining.
