The first 100 or so pages are great. a classic adventure story. However, Butler gets so bogged down in his own narrative of the country and it's customs that it put me off very quickly. I skipped a few chapters after trying them but the book is really not for me. Such a shame as many of my peers whom have a similar reading taste adore it. Hopefully will re read in a few years and understand the satire more!
