All while I was reading this, I kept wondering if I liked it...BUT...I kept reading and finished it today. I did like it. It was hard to read, so intense, though. She's a good writer, though. Kept pulling me through a story that is emtionally difficult.

So far, so good. Interesting to say the least. I'm not that far in it yet, but it definitely has peaked my interest. The storyline is fascinating and reminds me of the movie Starman with Jeff Bridges. The whole Invasion of the BodySnatchers thing and the loss of humanity kinda creeps me out some, but I think that is what I like about it. It's filled with so many Hollywood references and that makes it more appealing and familiar to my senses. The storyline doesn't throw me for a loop with a "too

Best book I've read in a long time. I couldn't put it down! It definitely made my commutes to/from work much more enjoyable (and "shorter"), as well as my lunch hours, and wow, TV became non-existent. Not to mention the late night hours reading, resisting sleep.
I admit that the intro was a bit confusing that I had to read some parts a couple of times to understand, but it definitely picked up real quick after that! I'm also not a big sci-fi novel fan but this might have possibly changed my outlo ...more

Wow, just another great book by the author. As usual I didn't want to put it down once I started. And finishing it, I hate that it's over. I want more of the story. But Stephenie said she didn't know if she'd write a sequel to this because she knew who would have to die, so who knows if we'll ever get to read on about Wanderer's story. Stephenie Meyer tells great stories, and writes characters that you instantly fall in love with, and this book continues on that trend.

I liked the Vampire series she wrote, and thought I would just check this one out. Didn't expect to like it, but boy was I fooled. This has to be one of the best books I have ever read. I really connected with the characters and felt like I was personally involved in the story. I shared the emotions of the characters as well. This is a book I would definately read again.

Although sci-fi stories aren't really my thing, this book introduces a really neat concept of soul-like things inhabiting, basically every inch of the galaxy, or every inch of every living thing in the galaxy. Stephenie Meyer does it again. Although this is supposed to be an adult novel, I strongly suggest it to teens, too.

oh my goodness. SOOOOO good. I LOVE the twilight series, (hurry august, hurry fast) but this book was also incredible. I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy it because it wasn't Edward and Bella, but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think these characters were quite as lovable, but I enjoyed them in their own right.

This book was OKAY. I liked it but I'm so hooked on the Twilight series that this really didn't fit the bill lol. Maybe I"ll read it again after her new book comes out and I can really concentrate again.

I'm usually not a big science fiction fan but I really enjoyed this book. I love how well Stephenie writes emotions. You really feel what the characters feel. I highly suggest this book.
