I see people being disappointed, and while I must admit it isn't what I expected, I did enjoy it. There were lots of good things about it. And hey, it is Stephenie Meyer's story, and it is going to go the way she wants it, not the way the fans want it. And it should.

Amazing twists in Breaking Dawn. Really wasn't expecting some of the turns this book took, I am such a Stephenie Meyer fan after reading this series!! My only complaint is that there isn't a FIFTH book!!! I'm actually really looking forward to Midnight Sun (Edward's version of Twilight).

The Twilight Series was definitely a very pleasant experience. I'm all for encouraging and pushing and motivating this very pleasant experience. But I think Stephenie might have gone a little overboard when she was writing 'Breaking Dawn'.
I'm all for one's imagination to run wild, especially in Stephenie's case--her storytelling abilities makes me want to be a kid all over again just so I have an excuse for her to tell me a bedtime story. But then again, an excuse won't be necessary..even at my ...more

Over all I enjoyed it. Was it everything, no. Was it what I expected, yes. I think it tells Bella & Edwards story neatly, but I don't think it's THE END of Twilight, just the end of Bella & Edward as the main focus. I think the next book (if there is one) would be about Jacob & Nessie, or other "pairs". I also feel that there was too much being put into the book and it was rushed, even though 700+ pages, and that it tended to be wordie and I'd find myself skimming to get back to the "meat" of th

I am new to this vampire saga, having read all four books in less than 2 weeks. Breakinng Dawn is an exciting and exceptionally seductive and exciting conclusion to this love story. It has taken it's necessary and logical conclusion, as logical as this incredible story can be:)
