5++ stars - Vampire Romance/Young Adult

Eclipse is my very favorite book of the Twilight saga. It seemed much more 'adult' to me, and I loved how everything came together with such thrilling tension, action, and romance. The derision between Edward and Jacob throughout the book, especially in the Fire and Ice chapter, and Bella's subsequent turmoil were palpable. Eclipse had me laughing out loud, shedding tears, and waiting anxiously for the saga's final conclusion. ...more

It was even better than New Moon. What was gong with Jacob and Bella really annoyed be, but she picked the ight person in the end. I definetley laughed a lot in this book. Edward is freakin awesome and Bella is even better in this book. ...more

Eclipes was one of the best books in the series. This book is basicly the climax of the series because of the love triangle finally coming out in the open. Bella is a perfect example of acceptance and confusion. She accept the fact that she loves both Edward and Jacob but knows in her heart that Edward is like a drug to her. (even though she sometimes leads Jacob on) The war that occurs to save Bellas life is inevitable.

I enjoyed this book more in the sense of the love triangle perspective between Jake, Edward, and Bella. The tension between the three was dramatic and fresh. But I really think Jacob is the character developing the most. Looking forward to seeing how things progress in Breaking Dawn. ...more
