This book triggered the one thing most important to me in a book, Empathy. And man, did I empathize! There were moments between chapters that I was reading through teary eyes trying not to cry. That didn't last long. By the end of the book my eyes were puffy and my nose was clogged. Damn!

I gotta say Katie McGarry knows how to build her characters well. I gotta say Katie McGarry knows how to build her characters well. Echo and Noah's issues may not be something I experienced personally but the author's technique in telling their stories and showing their individual personalities was raw and enticing. And while I know this book focuses on both of their lives and romance between them, I can't help but notice how well the minor characters were established as well. Each one with a different voice, a different issue and has distinguishable characteristics. Very, very commendable. It's not often I find myself engrosses with not only the protagonists but all the people around them as well.

I always love a good love story. And this was definitely amazing! Okay so maybe I was a little irked over Noah's pet name for Echo but I'll let that slide. I love the idea that Noah and Echo not only grew into better people in the end but saw them make sacrifices for each other's future, no matter how painful the choice was. I love how their relationship matured along with them.

This story was set in high school. Our characters are about to graduate. Ah, high school. The life of peer pressure and nonsensical insecurity. I think you can guess I've had a pretty 'eventful' high school life with that statement. Ha! Long story. Anyway, I think the environment was well suited for a plot such as this. I can understand the pressure that Noah and Echo were feeling towards everything that has been happening in their lives, between handling high school and dealing with personal demons, I'd give Mrs. Collins a hug for all that she did to help these two.

Pushing the Limits is an emotional roller coaster. I loved every experience of reading it: the romance, the slow unraveling of Echo's repressed memories, Noah's maturity, everything! This is was absolutely beautiful!

So everyone was raving about this book but I do not see the reason why. Definitely was very fresh about the actual story however the romance was too fast especially the marriage part seemed extremely unrealistic and turned me off. However, the male's POV was extremely realistic and the author did an amazing job of delving into character and used language that a normal teenage boy would use. Between fantasy and reality

I really loved this book. I loved it´s main characters, Echo and Noah, I loved a few of the other characters such as Lila,Beth and Mrs. Carson. The story was sad, depressing yet full of hope. Everything that happened to those two, no matter how awful, in the end brought them together. It built up their character and made them the person each fell in love with. I was so totally floored by how amazing this book was. I mean I know I keep hearing all of these great reviews raving about how GOOD Pushing The Limits was but I was still a little hesitant to believe them all. I am so, so, so happy I was able to read this book. Everything about it was so perfect. The Story, the characters, the drama, the romance between Echo and Noah. Once I was done reading, I clutched the book to my chest and did not want to let go. There are books out there that after you fi I was so totally floored by how amazing this book was. Pushing The Limits gave me that feeling but yet a small part of me was sad that the book was over. I wanted to know more about what happens to Echo and Noah. What their future holds together.

If you have read the book then you know the story of Echo and Noah but if you still have yet to read it then I will not go into a whole of details about the story. I don't want to spoil anything for new readers. So the story consits of a girl named Echo and a boy named Noah. Both are dealing with there own problems, hardships, and loss. Echo lives with her controlling Father and step-mother. She is trying hard to have a normal life again after what happen to her one night when she was with her real mother. Echo does not remember anything of that night and is told her brain is blocking her memories. One thing she knows for sure is that she has scars on her hands and wrists but doesn't now to where they came from.
Noah is your YUMMY, hot bad boy with that I don't give a f*** additude that ever girl wants to have. Under that rough exterior Noah has secrets himself. His Mother and Father died in a fire years ago leaving him and her two younger brothers alone. They were split up and put into foster care. Noah will go to the ends of the earth to get his bothers back.

Both Echo and Noah's world soon collide in a turn of events in which their lives both will be changed forever.

I just fell head of heels in love with Pushing The Limits. I know I rave about a lot of books I love but this one by far just rocked my world. I was not expecting such a outstanding read. Author Katie McGarry is a GOD! Well, not really but she is very awesome!! Her style of writing and how well her characters evolve with each chapter makes for a entrancing read.
I loved how edgy the story was and the characters. She did not hold anything back while writing. I cannot recommend Pushing The Limits enough. This book is a MUST read. You will not be disappointing.

This book wasn't a very easy read. There are a lot of issues.
Both Echo and Noah have very messed up lifes. They have a lot of things to figure out.
The book didn't grab me but it shows a part of the real life. That things are not perfect, that there are real problems and the happily ever after is not always possible.

Pushing the Limits was a great read. Emotional and well written. Once I started it was not easy to put down. Typically I don't usually like to read from a guys pov but the way it was rotating was nice. It did seem as if the book got a little long toward the end but that didn't take away from the great-ness that was in the story:-) ...more

THE BEST.it was a roller-coaster ride emotionally, the best one, the one which gives you butterflies both kinds,the nervous and the happy ones. the one that makes your stomach tumble infinitely and the one that makes you giddy making you laugh uncontrollably.
the characters, wow, i can bet you ,its very easy to fall in love with them.and you WILL fall in love with them.
