I really enjoyed Masquerade. It was intriguing, and quite different to have a main character be so psychological scarred but still easy for the reader to identify with. Yes, she was a cheerleader, a trendsetter, a social butterfly... but that was before.

I was worried at first that the youthful voice of Heven might grate or turn into a pity party, but I really don't feel it did that. Masquerade manages to balance on that fine line of remaining true to a younger character but without the common s ...more

I signed up for R2R, but didn't get this one. I really enjoyed this book and was glad I bought it.

I liked the interaction between the characters. I thought the different POV's were great! I've been wanting to try that in my own work, and done well, I think it makes a difference.

There were a few points that were a little unbelievable to me, but I won't go into details because I don't do spoilers. Overall this was a great read, and I look forward to the next in the series. ...more

This book was seriously amazing! I felt sorry for Heven in the beginning with her scars and everything.. She and Sam make such an amazing couple! I think she totally overreacted when Sam told her the truth but all's well that ends well (:

I was so feeling Sam's pain when he told his story. :(

I'm really happy that this book had a happy ending :D I just hope the next one is good too :D ...more
