OKAY. I TAKE ALL THAT BACK. IAN WAS EPIC. I LOVE LOVE LOVE JAKE ABEL. OMG. THE MOVIE WAS SO EPIC! I CRIED LIKE THREE TO FOUR TIMES. I CAN'T EVEN- *Breath, Saniya, breath.* ...*Sighh.*
Okay. This movie was freaking awesome and I just want to hug somebody right now. :'3

I am so sorry Jake baby. You were awesome in it. I misjudged you. Now I will love you forever. *Creepy fan-girl smile*

I had to re-read the 1st chapter like 5 times, and still I didn’t understood. Halfway around the book I went back and re-read it again and I was like: OoOh!! Duh. When I tried to explain what the story was about to someone I always ended up saying a lot of nonsense and never actually saying what the book was about, because, honestly it’s a complicated storyline; which is part of why I loved it so much, I was able to dive into the story and I never lost track of things or was like ‘whaaaaat?’ Well, aside from Chapter 1 at least ^^

I also think that this books has a lot of important lessons and meaning. Though I’m the kind of girl that thinks all books have layers and hidden messages, even when my mom tells me I need to go get groceries I think there’s this life changing meaning behind her words; so no big surprise to find meaning behind Meyer’s words, but this is one of the best plots I’ve read and that has lots of meaning ;)

BUT, yeah, there’s always a but. The But here is this: The Characters. They were not flat, not boring, not unlikable or unrelatable. Then what’s the problem? Lack of creativity. They seemed to come straight out of Twilight. Wanda – Bella. Melanie – Rosalie. Jared – Edward. Jamie –Jacob. And so on a Lot of the characters resembled the one’s in Twilight, it’s like Meyer thought about a whole new plot and used all of her creativity in it that she had no time or imagination left for more original characters :/

All in all it was a great story, I don’t know if I like it more than Twilight to be honest, I read both a while back so I’m not sure, maybe if you count both books [Twilight and The Host] as stand-alone books I’ll go for Twilight, though counting Twilight for what it is – A Series – I would go for The Host. The Host is also going to be a series but, its been 4 years since the host came out and Meyer hasn’t given updates on the sequel. Only Alice knows when she’ll publish it.
