August Derleth wrote this after Lovecraft was dead. It's part of Derleth's Cthulhu Mythos. It was OK, but definitely not Lovecraft writing it. I have Derleth's complete collection of the Cthulhu Mythos stories, so I'll definitely be reading some more as time goes by. ...more
