Not my favorite PKD book, but an entertaining read nonetheless. It's interesting in that it kind of foreshadows what happened to him later in life. By the time after his experience with the pink laser beams in 1974, he was convinced that this world was an illusion and that we were still living in the time of Acts in the New Testament, and this book obviously has a similar style plot where it's set in an alternate universe where an author writes a book dictated to him by the I Ching which describ

Truly one of the great works of SciFi. One of Dick's most mature books. A great plot, great devices used, great characters... and the way Dick deals with the issue of authenticity and verification of reality is really great, philosophically speaking.

I swear the audiobook narrator is the same guy who told the fate of Freck in the film of A Scanner Darkly!
