One of the most accessible and straightforward PKD novels I've read so far.

An interesting predecessor to stories or films like 'Independence Day' or 'The Terminator'. There are elements to this novel that I can see as being influential to the sci-fi genre.
Out of the sci-fi genre, this is one of Dick's novels that contains a fair amount of sci-fi action; the typical elements commonly associated with the genre. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable to read, especially due to the commentary of man's growing relationship with machines. Namely, the computer.
