This was the very first Dick book I've ever read, a gift from my dad in my early teens. As such I didn't quite understand it, but I returned to it years later - and loved it. I still find it sadder than it's made out to be, akin to Tarkovsky's Stalker in some respects, but of course this is no bad thing. A great work on humanity. ...more
