A man picks up a woman in a bar, slips some rohypnol into her drink and brings her back to his home. Two days later the police find the body found of the man lying in a pool of blood and only a few clues to help them solve the crime.
Usually the main character in this series is Erlendur, this time it is detective Elinborg who heads the investigation – a welcome change in my opinion.
