This book presents some really interesting ideas, exploring the possibility of what the world might have looked like had the Germans and Japanese won World War II. And I loved the strange sort of double vision of reading this book as the characters were reading and discussing a novel within the novel which explored the possibility of the allies winning, and the ways in which that posited reality did and didn’t reflect our own.
